Constructora Meco has been awarded for the construction of the first stage of the Sewerage Project in the city of Cartago in Costa Rica. This work includes the placement of 8 kilometers of a primary network called Toyogres Manifold, Central TEC Manifold and Central Zopilote Manifold, in order to evacuate from the existing sewerage network to JASEC WWTP.
The works include the rehabilitation of the aqueduct network of drinking water and the rehabilitation and maintenance of the roads where sewerage works are to be executed.
The amount of this contract is approximately $10 million Dollars and must be executed in 18 months. The Municipality of Cartago has contracted JASEC as the Executive Unit and Constructora Meco for the construction of this project.
