This overpass is a priority project awarded to Constructora MECO to solve the problem of heavy traffic in the city, through a viaduct in east-west direction that will have 6 lanes; 3 in each direction.
The placement of the beams in the east side would end in 45 days if the weather allows, since it includes welding and placement of diaphragms to continue placing, slabs and expansion joints on the bridge.
This overpass has an investment of $ 10 million, financed by the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB).
