The northern and eastern parts of the country join the capital city by this modern road. The project involved the construction, rehabilitation and widening of 9.4 kilometers of the Pedregal – Gonzalillo highway, as well as the rehabilitation of 1.8 kilometers of the Villalobos highway. It included the construction of two “horseshoe” type overpasses on the Transístmica road, and an overpass to connect the new road and the Zárate road. Finally, the project included the construction of a pedestrian walkway with ramps, stairs and roofing, and a road crossing in Tierra Prometida.
