This solar energy project was made possible by a donation from the Government of Japan to the Costa Rican Electricity Institute (ICE). Meco built the concrete pedestals on which the 610 solar panels that cover a two hectares area rest. Despite being a small project, it is part of the environmental policy of Constructora Meco.
