As part of the Region’s Border Integration Program promoted by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), this project included the construction of more than 12,000 square meters of buildings and 42,000 square meters of parking lots and ring roads. The project had to be carried out without affecting the border’s operation and the flow of passengers. To do that, Meco built temporary contingency infrastructures.
