This project consisted of the design and construction regarding improvements and extensions to the existing sewer system, as well as the rehabilitation of two new stations and an aerobic wastewater treatment plant for the community. The plant will collect and treat wastewater generated by residences and establishments located parallel to the 50 km of public roads and has a capacity of 1,455 GPD. In addition to Puerto Armuelles, the project covers the communities of Río Mar, El Palmar, Fábrica de Cajetas, Avenida Estudiante, El Carmen and other neighboring areas.
